VSIN is Awesome, Vegas Dave is Not

Listening to VSIN on Sirius (204) is the best way to follow the lines and actually provide good insight. The market is getting so over saturated with wannabe “handicappers” making a dime off of terrible gamblers. That’s fine, the world is full of idiots… this show does a great job exposing the Vegas Dave’s of the world. Mark my words, he will be in jail before the end of the year. The IRS will come knocking and the l guys will go out. That said, paying $500 for one “Whale”that Dave provides is clinical. Fun fact, his whales are money line bets that are -700. Great insight, Dave! (His picks are posted on reddit, which he aggressively denies authenticity).

75%+ win percentage is truly a lie when you are betting the spread. Flat out, cannot be done throughout a season, let alone a week of NBA games. If you know someone like that. Kindly ask them to bet you $1000, or 10 units that they can’t win over 55% during ONE week of any sports league. Or any 20 games they think are locks throughout the year.

Bottom line, if you love sports betting like me, listen to the quiet number guys that provide reason and accountability to their picks. They don’t flaunt, just provide influence. Choose 1 or 2 sources. Don’t overthink it by listening to everyone’s opinion. Stay consistent with your source and track them. After that, bet with your gut on 1/3 of the bets their talking about and you’ll see some serious improvements.

A winner!

Great look into the business of sports bettting. Both from the casual fan’s and professional bettor’s perspectives.

Hope they make more episodes.
