The Angel of Auschwitz Storyline

The movie is based on the experiences of Polish Catholic midwife, Stanislawa Leszczynka, who was sent to Auschwitz by the Gestapo, after being caught helping Jews in the Lodz Ghetto. She risked her life delivering babies and trying to keep them alive in Auschwitz. She is being considered for canonization (sainthood) by the Catholic Church.

Slow. Dreary. Awful soundtrack music.

The subject matter is horrific. Especially when the viewer knows that Mengele got away. I expected more from this movie but it has no structure. Just a sequence of scenes to a music soundtrack like an electric motor. The subject matter deserves a far better treatment.

Trash from an ‘artist’

It’s clear from the 2 minute mark that this awful director cared only about trying to be artistic and not at all about the subject.

This is truly a disservice to the people who the film is supposed to portray.

Don’t waste your time with this

If you don’t want bad acting, bad filming, bad story… Then move on – My husband and I have been watching many movies about WW II and concentration camps, but this one is definitely the worse movie I have watched for a long time… I will recommend you to spend your time cleaning your home instead of this movie…
